If you went to school or have ever stepped outside your door, at some point you’ve probably visited a library. In this library you more than likely saw a variation of the quote, “With books you can go anywhere.”
How true is this statement? Whether I was heading off to Narnia, or exploring Terabithia; other worlds and lands were a regular thing for me because of books.
But what about the books that take you on an adventure and teach you something that enriches you for the rest of your life?
There were books that taught me to brave and stories that taught me to never give up. The ones that took me on an adventure AND taught me something invaluable were always my absolute favorite. Our little mouse friend Jeremiah Jettison has gone on a few adventures in his lifetime, but he also has an amazing lesson for your kids to learn.
He even has a new story coming out with an incredibly exciting adventure and an even more important message: when we work together we all get better! Jeremiah Jettison and the Caves of Darkness will be out this October and the Evansville Christian Life Center can hardly wait to get this book out into the world so your kids can be transported to the world of Cheddarton, Cliff Havens and beyond. They’ll get to see what their friends Jeremiah and Elsie have been up to, and maybe meet some new friends along the way.
