There’s something about the magic of a train that lights up your face and sends a flutter to the pit of your stomach. No matter how old or young you are, trains are always an adventure waiting to happen.

Last weekend, I loaded up my family and traveled to French Lick to meet up with Thomas the Train. My kids have been fans of Thomas for years and it was such a thrill to spend the day at the French Lick Scenic Railway; yes, the day. Not only do you have the opportunity to ride on Thomas the Train, but you also get the spend the day with your family enjoying a variety of activities on site.

From train tables to blocks to bubbles to storytime, there is something for everyone when they visit this attraction. Make plans to arrive early and get your Thomas map! If you visit all 4 stations on the map, your kids will receive a special surprise at the gift shop.

Besides the train ride, my girls loved meeting Sir Topham Hatt in the train station!

Here is a sneak peek at the event. Tickets are still available for a beautiful weekend ahead.
