My oldest daughter is 6 and I constantly struggle with the best way to teach her about gratitude and giving back to our community. Every day, we are blessed with food on the table, a roof over our heads, and a loving family. These are all things we take for granted and I want her to understand that she can give back to so many causes, even at a young age.
Thankfully, Sweet Lolli has the perfect way to give back and have your kids help this holiday season. They are now in the process of collecting donations to purchase toys for 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays. This is very exciting as Sweet Lolli is the first West Side drop off location for this program!
Here is what you can do:
1. Head over to Sweet Lolli (say hello to the amazing staff) and purchase toys in the store. You can make a monetary donation if you would like as well.
2. You are also welcome to bring any toys (even from another store) to donate.
In addition, when you purchase any toys for the toy drive at the store, you will receive 20% off that purchase! On December 2nd, 3rd and 4th, if you are purchasing for yourself, 20% of your purchase will be donated back to 911 Gives Hope for even more toys!!
We challenge you to take your kids and have them pick out and toy and teach them about the importance of giving back and donating to worthwhile causes. What better place to learn and have fun than Sweet Lolli Toys?!
Sweet Lolli has a Toy Goal we need you to help them meet! They’ve set a goal of 20-8.5" Boogie Boards, 20-4.5" boogie boards (with sleeves), 20-Play&Trace Boogie Board, 20-squigz, 20-squigz benders, 20-Deluxe Lil Sandbox, 20-zoob builders, 20-wood chunky puzzles, 20-baby dolls and 20-18" dolls.
At discount, they need right under $5000.00 to purchase all these things. Don’t forget, you can make a donation, or purchase one and the staff will be happy to help you out along the way.
