PC Pound Puppy of the week: Tyrone

Adoptions take place each Sunday at the Pet Food Center on First Avenue

December 1, 2016

Tyrone graduated from training in the Death Row Dogs program at Green River Correctional Facility in Kentucky on July 9, 2013 where he passed his Canine Good Citizen exam.  He learned manners, obedience and more...!  Tyrone's ideal adopter will be a calm, consistent pack leader who is willing to continue his training after the adoption and can provide structure, particularly during the initial adjustment period.

Tyrone gets along with some dogs but needs to meet any potential housemates prior to adoption.  This dog has been through a lot but once you get to know him, you will see his sweet and loving nature.  He is highly intelligent and you can see that just by looking into that handsome face!

Tyrone came into the shelter on 9/6/12.  He is in a foster home and looking for a furever home.

He has had a rabies shot, 7-way shot, bordetella, and been wormed. He is neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Our adoption fee is $130.00 and it helps to cover a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.

The fastest way to get the ball rolling is to complete an adoption application for the dog that caught your eye.  Thank you for considering adoption of a shelter dog!
