Bunny Bread Candy Cane Express - December 3

The Bunny Bread Candy Cane Express has become a popular holiday destination especially for families with young children and/or grandchildren. This one hour magical Christmas afternoon features our full philharmonic orchestra and chorus and guest artists, Daniel Narducci and Christina Overton performing your holiday favorites. Selections include “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Christmas Time is Here.”

Joining on stage will also be Evansville Children’s Choir, Evansville Ballet and Legacy Dance Company. You might see a special jolly visitor dressed in red! Bring a gently used coat for Coat a Kid and help give back this holiday season!

For this performance only, children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket.  If you have any questions, call the Philharmonic box office at 812-425-5050.

Peppermint Pops - December 3 and December 4

For many Tri-State residents, Evansville’s one and only Peppermint Pops marks the beginning of the holiday season and is at the top of their holiday wish lists.  You’ll hear plenty of your holiday favorites and see Jolly old St. Nick, as well.

Evansville Ballet's The Nutcracker - December 10 and December 11

The Evansville Ballet Theatre’s season will include the tradition of bringing the magic of The Nutcracker to life with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. Housed in the historic Victory Theatre in downtown, you’ll want to make this classic about a young girl’s Christmas Eve dreams part of your family's own holiday season.

Handel’s Messiah by Candlelight in Evansville - December 16

Under the direction of Philharmonic Music Director Alfred Savia, the baroque-size orchestra drawn from the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra will join forces with voices from the Evansville Philharmonic Chorus to present this 18th century masterpiece in its traditional setting. Following the concert, the entire audience is invited to a free dessert reception upstairs in Craig Hall.
