Family fun takes on a whole new meaning at Cates Farm Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch in Henderson. We had the opportunity to check out the farm last weekend and were highly impressed by everything offered.
Here are 10 reasons why you should visit Cates this season!
- The Friendly Staff - The Cates family/staff was beyond helpful and friendly during our visit. This is more than just a seasonal activity. They are so kind to host families on their farm and offer a wide variety of activities for all ages! Every staff member we encountered was INCREDIBLY nice.
- The Pumpkin Patch - There is nothing better than exploring a 10-acre pumpkin patch with your kids and allowing them to pick their own pumpkin. The patch is located right next to the activities which is convenient, especially if you have younger children.
- Jumping Fun - The farm has a large jump pad plus a Pumpkin Bounce house.
- Kid-Centered Activities - From a giant slide, duck races, corn hole, tricycle tractor track, corn box, tunnel slides, games and more, there is something for everyone.
- Barrel Train - The kids loved this train. Every child can have their own seat (or smaller kids can double up) for a ride around the farm.
- Hayride - Nothing says fall more than a hayride to explore the beautiful property.
- Corn Maze - A 14-acre corn maze - one for bigger kids/adults and one for younger kids. Everyone will love the Dory design. You can also pick up a map and search for ten birdhouses that are hidden within the maze.
- Parties - Yes, you can celebrate your special occasion at Cates. We saw a birthday party and it looked like so much fun!
- Bonfires - Bonfire pits are set up for families and you can purchase S’mores kits (and more) to have fun!
- Concessions - You can pick up an inexpensive concession or even purchase a super cool corn maze t-shirt.
