My name is Rebekah and I just turned 8 years old. Every year, we do something special on birthdays. The birthday girl or boy in our family gets to pick where we have a special dinner. On my birthday, I begged mommy and daddy to take me to Gattitown. It’s my favorite place because it has really good food, games, and prizes. I waited patiently all day to go and then our whole family went out to have a night to celebrate my special day.

Here are 5 things I think every kid (especially a birthday kid) should check out at Gatittown in Evansville:

1. The Buffet. I love all the food at Gattitown. The pizza is really good and my parents like the salad bar. Me? I love the noodles and macaroni and cheese. I even went back for seconds. I also love the slushie drinks. They are soooo good. The red flavor is my favorite.

2. The Prizes. While playing games is totally fun, I really like taking our cards at the end of our visit to the cool room with all the prizes. They take our cards and tell us how many tickets we earned. It is really neat to be able to see what we can pick out. I always let my little sister pick out things to and it gives us something special to take home so we can remember our trip.

3. Games. While I love eating, I get so excited knowing that we get to play games as soon as our meal is over. When we go in, I always go straight to the piano game. I haven’t beaten the record yet, but I keep trying. I also get to play with my parents which is really fun.

4. Attractions. In the games section, you can also get on the bumper cars, trampoline, and frog ride. I think every kid should do all of these. The bumper cars are fun with your parents. The trampoline is really fun because you can jump really high. The frog ride always makes me laugh and scream every single time.

5. The Memories. When I leave Gattitown I always want to go back. Probably because I always have fun and have great memories of all the things I did. I loved having dinner there on my birthday and my mom told me they even do birthday parties there! How cool is that?
