Day camp at Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve is summer camp as you remember it, the iconic outdoor nature experience. Campers will hike, canoe, fish, play games, and learn in the outdoors while exploring the grounds of Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve, Howell Wetlands,
and other area sites. From meeting new friends to meeting a screech owl, balancing on a stump stomping through a creek, kids will enjoy classic summer adventures with trained outdoor education staff.

WWNP has added two all-new camps for 2019! If your campers previously enjoyed our full-day camp options, adventurers ages 6 – 9 can now choose from previous favorites Discovery Camp and Animal Adventures, or the brand new Art in the Wild and Bodacious Bugs. Half day mini-camps for ages 4 – 6 include Junior Discovery Camp, Puddle Jumpers, Outdoor Adventures, Wild Woods, and Junior Art in the Wild. Campers ages 9 – 13 can sign up for Camp Out & About, now a classic that takes campers to exciting locations in and around Evansville for adventures such as creek stomping, kite flying, water play, and more.

“She had what I would consider an ‘old timey’ summer experience-- one that I would have had when I was a kid, but that doesn't usually exist anymore. Great camp and she had an incredible time!”  - Katie, summer camp parent
