At Camp Swonder, our counselors make sure that each day is jam-packed with fun and exciting activities while providing a safe environment for your child. Campers have the opportunity to ice skate, swim at Hartke Pool every day (weather permitting), do crafts, listen to guest speakers, go on nature hikes and much more.
Camp Swonder offers 10 weeks of full-day camp for children ages 6 – 12 over summer break, lunch and snack are included. Each session will have a different theme along with guest speakers and activities that correspond with that theme. For example, during Session 2, “Under the Sea”, Willard Library will be coming to visit us this week, along with the Evansville Museum to do a fun and interactive presentation with campers. We will be making mermaid slime, coffee filter rainbow fish, and salt painted jellyfish. We will also be playing fun games like sharks & minnows, crab walk soccer, captain’s orders, and octopus tag.
