As my children grow older, birthday parties with friends become an exciting opportunity to make memories and have fun. My oldest daughter has a birthday that always lands on spring break, and while she loves being off from school, she deeply wishes for a birthday party with friends.
This year, thanks to Walther’s Golf & Fun, we had an opportunity to book a birthday party experience that was filled with laughter and tons of kid-friendly fun.
THE PARTY LAYOUT AND ROOM
When it comes to party choices, Walther’s Golf & Fun has a wide variety of options based on your “fun” needs and budget. There are excellent party options for everyone. We did the GOLD party which we highly recommend because it includes so many exciting activities plus the pizza and drinks. We also had access to a private party room on the second floor near the laser tag arena (Rebekah’s name was even outside the door) and our own personal party helper who constantly made sure everything was taken care of from start to finish.
THE MINI GOLF
Our kids love mini golf and the party experience was the perfect opportunity to go out and show some skills on the greens. Mini golf is available indoors or outdoors which is perfect for a party any time of the year. Our girls stayed indoors and split into small teams. They played each other, kept score, and filled the area with lots of laughter!
THE FOOD
After we went through the mini golf course with all the party attendees, it was time to eat. And believe me, these girls were hungry and thirsty after putting around for 45 minutes. They came back upstairs and enjoyed a delicious array of pizzas cooked right on site, hot and fresh, as soon as the girls were done. In addition, every child had a drink and paper items. As a parent, I didn’t have to do anything except say, “Enjoy your pizza!”
Walther’s Golf & Fun allows you to bring in your own cake and candles, so we enjoyed a rendition of “Happy Birthday” and got sugared up before our next activity.
THE LASER TAG
After the girls were fueled up, we all went over to the laser tag arena. During your birthday party, you are assigned a specific time so you don’t have to wait! Everyone went in and had a blast. I’m pretty sure the kids were on a mission to get higher scores than the adults. When everyone exited the arena, they were laughing and sharing fun stories.
Laser tag is perfect for adults and kids alike!
THE GAMES
Once laser tag was over, we opened presents and then gave a Walther’s Golf & Fun "present" to every girl in attendance - their very own $10 game card. Yes, we got to play games to end the party which was very popular with all the girls. They went down and enjoyed playing games and redeeming their cards for prizes.
The party was everything we could have hoped for! My daughter couldn’t stop talking about it the entire way home and was so happy that she got to have what she called, “The perfect party at the perfect place.”
The staff was incredible - we got to interact with so many people from the moment we walked in the door and they were so kind, helpful, and knowledgable about every aspect of the facility and party. We highly recommend Walther’s Golf & Fun for your next party.
