The name of my business is Vicki Jean Wilson Art and I have been in business since 2015. I have painted all my life, but took an early retirement of being a preschool teacher, to do what my passion is, and that is helping others tap into their own creativity by creating online and in-person painting tutorials.
My online tutorials are for both adults and children and they are usually seasonal and holiday related, example, Valentine's Day, Easter, Spring, Summer, Fall and Christmas. I offer several classes for free, and a few paid tutorials which range from $10.00 to $25.00 per person. My in-person paint classes are at homes, businesses, children’s birthday parties, Girl Scouts, etc. I also give classes at Olive Grace and The Farmhouse in Newburgh and Evansville.
Costs run for these adult classes are $25.00 per person and that is included all step by step instruction and materials to complete the painting. My children’s classes vary in price depending on how many are involved and I give discounts to organizations such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Churches, etc. I also offer private classes for children too.
Parent’s love both in-person and online classes. They enjoy the creation their child makes and the pride they feel as they learn more about art and how to express themselves. I always get positive feedback from parents about the classes. My passion is teaching others and I love their smiles after they have finished a painting. Most people will send me pictures of their finished artwork and I take pride in helping them accomplish something that they think they could not have done.
