What will your child do this summer? How do they spend their weekends? In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed Planning Your Day 101 to allow my children to take control of their day. Without the relief of cMoe or Mickey’s Kingdom, we all needed to feel in control of something during that time, which still holds true today. At any age, our children deserve a chance to feel like something is in their control, whether we are mid-pandemic or not.

If your child loves organization and planning or you want them to take responsibility for themselves a bit more on the weekends, this practical, hands-on guide walks them through multiple categories of life to encourage life balance and flexibility, while learning how to build their own daily schedule. Some of the categories in Planning Your Day 101 include GROW (learning), CONTRIBUTE (helping others), MOVE (exercise), CHILL (downtime), and more!

With engaging full-color illustrations throughout, I developed this workbook originally for preteens (ages 9-13). However, readers from 7 years old are enjoying the simple format. I'm also hearing 17-year-olds and their parents excited about taking control of their day with Planning Your Day 101. That's right, adults have used it!
