This summer, the University of Evansville will lead an 8-day Journey to Justice bus tour, from July 24-31, 2021, through cities of the South to explore the history of the Civil Rights Movement. Students on this journey will learn important, valuable lessons at each stop for an impactful experience of personal reflection and application within their own community. The Journey to Justice will include site visits at the following locations:

- Civil Rights Memorial, Legacy Museum, National Memorial for Peace and Justice, Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, Rosa Parks Museum, Alabama State Capital

- 16th Street Baptist Church, Birmingham Civil Rights Institute
- Selma, Alabama
- Brown Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Edmund Pettus Bridge and Interpretive Center, National Voting Rights Museum
- Memphis, Tennessee
- Mason Temple Church of God in Christ, National Civil Rights Museum, Beale Street
- Louisville, Kentucky
