Macaroni Kid Evansville would like to welcome Ohio River Train as a new sponsor! Logan Day, President and Conductor, invites you and your family to come to Tell City to board the train. Daily departures are scheduled as well as themed trips, meals and music! Enjoy a leisurely journey across parts of the Ohio River banks and other natural settings throughout Perry and Spencer Counties in Southern Indiana.
Themed trips include the Outlaw Limited, offered once a month through October, a thrilling train ride adventure back to the Wild West! Get caught up in a "real" train robbery and watch as an authentic Wild West shootout takes place between the lawmen and bandits.
The Safari Train, on weekends in June, is an exciting safari weekend full of adventure, activities and beautiful views along the Ohio River region of Southern Indiana, from the Tell City Depot to historic Troy and back. Stretch your legs during a brief 30 minute lay over in Troy and enjoy the scenery of the Mighty Ohio River.
The Birthday Express can happen most weekends through November!
And coming July 3rd and 4th, celebrate our country's independence aboard the Independence Day Flyer and take a relaxing journey along the Ohio River region of Southern Indiana from the Tell City Depot to historic Troy, IN and back. Stretch your legs during a 60 minute lay over in Troy and enjoy a visit with the local artisans and vendors at this 4th of July celebration festival on the Ohio River waterfront. *Fireworks train departs at 7PM*
