Meet Calloway!

DOB: 7/2014 Weight: 47lbs

Are you looking for a perfect? Perfect, that's not a word used to describe shelter dogs very often but maybe that's because those dogs weren't given the chance to show their true selves.

Meet Calloway, he was named Layaway by his previous owner because he was found in a K-mart parking lot. His foster changed that the day he stepped foot in his home. Layaway needed a name worthy of who he was. We have had zero interest in this "perfect" guy. We understand, he's middle aged (7) and the most popular age is 2-3 when families come looking to adopt a dog. His age, while still having half his life to go, gives him wisdom and no behavior problems. None. Perfect.

Described by his foster as almost ghostlike because you don't even know he's in the house, this guy is also living with other dogs of various personalities plus kids without fail. He's lower energy, likes to go outside, is a great rider in the car but also the total couch potato and Ive been told will snuggle through an entire football game. For everyone that is looking for an easy dog and I mean easy, here he is! His adoption fee is $175. If interested in adopting him please fill out an application for him on our website pcpoundpuppies.com***YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BEFORE WE DO ANY MEET AND GREETS. QUESTIONS? Our standard adoption fee is $175 ($250 for puppies 6 months and under, or small dogs 15lbs or below) which covers a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.
