The Soul Writers' Guild (SWG) at the Evansville African American Museum (EAAM) is thrilled to announce the 2023 Kwanzaa Community Celebration, a weeklong event dedicated to embracing the Seven Principles and Afrocentric culture. Kwanzaa, a seven-day non-religious, non-military holiday observed from December 26 through January 1, provides a meaningful opportunity for unity and celebration within the community.
The Kwanzaa Community Celebration, open to the public, will take place from Tuesday, December 26, to Saturday, December 30. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to start or renew their memberships with the African American Museum, Inc.
