Baseball Is Back!

Evansville Otters Are At Bosse Field All Summer

May 10, 2024

Once again, Macaroni KID Evansville is thrilled to partner with the Evansville Otters! Fifth Third Bank Family Night is back for ALL Tuesday home games with ticket and concession specials. Watch our events calendar for fun game day promotions. MKE will be giving away home game tickets on our Facebook page--be sure to follow us all season! Another fun season of baseball at Bosse Field, the third oldest stadium used for professional baseball.

Bosse Field has hosted professional baseball since 1915, including as the Triple-A affiliate for Minnesota, Milwaukee, and Detroit from 1970-84.  Over 100 members of the Baseball Hall of Fame played there.  Bosse Field was the home for the Racine Belles for filming of “A League of Their Own”.  Bosse Field received a state-of-the-art video board and new LED Lighting for the 2020 season.

Featured in the Otters schedule are three nine-game home stands, road trips to East Division foes Tri-City and Sussex County and a home series against the league's brand new team in New England.

Evansville joins Ottawa, New Jersey, Tri-City and Schaumburg as the five teams who will begin and end their seasons on the road.

The 2024 schedule features 16 teams following New England's arrival and Empire State's departure. With this league change, each team will play a 48 home/48 road game schedule, altered from last year's 51 home/45 road schedule.

In efforts to ease travels, the league has moved away from the round robin schedule - meaning teams will only play a select few teams from the opposing division.

The Evansville Otters and Fifth Third Bank are excited to announce a new version of Fifth Third Bank Family Nights, which will take place at every Tuesday home Otters game at Bosse Field this summer. Each Tuesday home game, all fans can take advantage of general admission tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, bottled water and 12oz Busch Light drafts, all for just $2 each!

No package is required to buy to take advantage of these deals, as fans across the ballpark can capitalize on a cheaper night at Bosse Field.

Season ticket and group ticket packages are on sale now. Call (812) 435-8686 for more information. The Evansville Otters are the 2006 and 2016 Frontier League champions.
