Here we are welcoming July, already halfway through our summer. I hope you've been finding ways not only to keep busy but also to keep cool.
Our calendar shows the number of activities going on in the community. I encourage you to go beyond the calendar if you're looking at free, age-appropriate activities offered by local libraries. The list is huge and we can't always list them all. Either follow the libraries closest to you on Facebook or go directly to their website. Summer reading programs have added more fun to the listings so be sure to check them out when the "B" word (bored) starts showing up in your house.
We will continue to search for summer-fun events but also keep an eye open for the Back To School activities that will be showing up at the end of July. If you want to promote an event or activity related to school starting, let us know.
I am so proud of the response we get when asking for input. Please know that subscribers are the heart of Macaroni KID Evansville and encourage your friends and family with children to check us out! Not only our website has great information, but our Facebook page does too. Plus, on Facebook, we have a tendency to give away some AWESOME goodies! Be sure to follow us in July for some super summer giveaways! And, remember, if you see us out at events, stop and say Hello!
