EVPL Foundation's Concerts on the Lawn series begins Saturday, May 16
This year's concert lineup includes 10 events
Evansville – Whether people are looking for a free family outing, date night, or meet-up with friends, the EVPL Foundation's Concerts on the Lawn series will offer live local music all summer long.
The ten-concert series will begin and end with Saturday performances at EVPL Central on May 16 with Jeremiah Galey and Corduroy Orbison, and August 15 with Nina Snoogans and Macro Geo. Concerts at EVPL Central will be held from 6-8 p.m. on the green space on Chestnut Street, across from the library.
EVPL East and EVPL Oaklyn will alternate hosting Friday performances through June and July, with concerts from 6 - 7 p.m.:

July 3, EVPL Oaklyn: D.R. Bridges
July 10, EVPL East: Soul N the Pocket

July 31, EVPL Oaklyn: Honey Vines
"All the locations offer wonderful outdoor spaces for enjoying an evening of live music," said Erika Qualls, Director of Programming & Outreach, EVPL. "We encourage people to bring a chair or blanket, some snacks, and a relaxed state of mind to wrap up their week with a concert featuring local artists."
These Performing Arts Experiences are part of The Arts at EVPL Series, funded by the EVPL Foundation.
The schedule will be available all summer at evpl.org/concerts.
