Wesselman Woods, the largest urban old-growth forest in the United States, is hosting five weeks of camp this summer! Come and join our educators for a fun week filled with animal encounters, guided hikes, and Nature Playscape exploration!
Camp Creepy | June 3 - 7 | Ages 6 - 12 | Get ready to make your skin crawl as we explore the eerie and icky (but fun!) parts of nature. We will explore a wide range of odd topics, from arachnids and insects to skeletons and scary stories.
STEAMagination | June 10 - 14 | Ages 8 - 12 | Join us as we explore the connection between nature and science, technology, engineering, art, and math. We will let STEAM guide our imaginations as we explore the forest, do experiments, and create art.
Mystery in the Woods | June 24 - 28 | Ages 6 - 9 | Calling all young detectives! Help us solve a mystery in the woods. Use your skills of deduction and hunt for clues in the forest.
Critter Quest | July 8 - 12 | Ages 6 - 12 | Craving to know more about critters? This camp is for you! During this camp week, we will learn all about native animals.
Art in the Wild | July 22 - 26 | Ages 8 - 12 | Join us for a week-long artistic adventure in the woods! Each day we will be exploring different art forms including painting, collage, sculpture, and many more exciting techniques!
